Our Story

Three generations, one shared vocation: making you feel at home

Hotel Arias was born from a story that began in the 1940s, when my grandparents arrived in Vigo from the countryside. They came in search of a better life and a future in the city.

By the late 1940s, they began running the Lepanto guesthouse and restaurant.

That dream, through years of hard work, became Hotel Arias in 1965.

For over four decades, my grandparents offered homemade meals and lodging to travelers, always with warmth and dedication.

In the 1990s, my mother took over, keeping the family spirit alive until her retirement.

The hotel then closed its doors, but it never left our memories.

Today, with renewed enthusiasm and the experience of three generations, we reopen Hotel Arias.
We’ve updated its spaces, but preserved its original spirit—a place where you feel at home.

We don’t offer unnecessary luxuries, but comfort. Rooms that function like small apartments, with practical solutions in a privileged location in the heart of Vigo.

We keep the name Hotel Arias in memory of my grandparents, and because we believe the best way forward is to remember where we come from.
